Mineral Fiber Millboard 39.4" x 39.4"
Amerisafe Mineral Fiber Utility Millboard is an asbestos free material made of rock wool mineral fibers and is available in various thicknesses in 39.4" x 39.4" sheets. This material is for indoor use and can be installed in any number of ways but should be mechanically fastened. This product may be applied outdoors in conjunction with a suitable weather barrier material.
Amerisafe Mineral Fiber Utility Millboard can be molded to fit irregular shapes and curves by dipping in water and molding to the desired shape and allowing to thoroughly dry. Upper Temperature Use Limit is 1382 degrees F (750 degrees C), Product color is tan to brown, Density is 59 lbs/cubic foot (0.95 kg.dm3), Heat treatment loss at 1472 degrees F (800 degrees C) is approximately 14%, Standard tolerance on thickness & weights is + or - 10% as per ASTM standard for millboard products
