Knauf Fiber Glass Duct Wrap
Knauf Duct Wrap is a thermal and acoustical insulation made from highly resilient, inorganic glass fibers bounded by a thermosetting resin. Available in various densities (.75, 1.0 and 1.5 pounds per cubic foot) and different vapor retarder facings including, FSK(foil-scrim kraft) jacket, PSK (metalized polypropylene-scrim-kraft) jacket. Vapor retarers have a 2” (51mm) stapling flange on one edge, and the factory-appled facing assures uniform quality.
Knauf Duct Wrap with Kwik Stretch Markings is used as an external insulation on commercial or residential heating or air conditioning ducts. It is suitable for the exterior of rectangular or round sheet metal ducts and spaces, or surfaces where temperature and condensation must be controlled.
Temperature Range (ASTM C 411)
Faced, can be used on ducts operating up to 250°F (121°C). Unfaced, up to 350°F (177°C).
